E-Tag Wizard Setup
Configure electronic price tags (E-Tags) for your vending machines.
What are E-Tags?
E-Tags (Electronic Shelf Labels) are digital price displays that can be updated remotely. They replace paper price labels and enable:
- Remote price updates
- Dynamic pricing
- Promotional displays
- Consistent branding
Prerequisites
- Compatible E-Tag hardware
- E-Tags paired with your account
- Machine with defined planogram
Step 1: Access the E-Tag Wizard
- Go to Machines
- Select a machine
- Click E-Tag Wizard in the actions menu
Or navigate directly to E-Tag Wizard in the sidebar.

Step 2: Select a Machine
Choose the machine you want to configure E-Tags for.
The wizard shows:
- Machine layout
- Current slot assignments
- E-Tag binding status
Step 3: Bind E-Tags to Slots
For each slot:
- Click the slot in the diagram
- Scan or enter the E-Tag ID
- Click Bind

The E-Tag will flash to confirm binding.
Step 4: Configure Display
For each bound E-Tag, configure:
- Template - Layout style (price only, price + name, etc.)
- Price Source - Use slot price or product default
- Promo Display - Show sale pricing when active
Step 5: Push Updates
After configuration:
- Review all bindings
- Click Push to Tags
- Wait for confirmation
E-Tags update within seconds.
Managing E-Tags
Unbinding
To remove an E-Tag from a slot:
- Click the slot
- Click Unbind
- Confirm
Replacing
If an E-Tag is damaged:
- Unbind the old tag
- Bind the new tag
- Push updates
Bulk Operations
For multiple tags:
- Go to E-Tag Wizard > Bulk
- Select multiple slots
- Apply template to all
Troubleshooting
E-Tag Not Responding
- Check E-Tag battery level
- Verify network connectivity
- Try power cycling the tag
Display Not Updating
- Confirm binding is correct
- Check for pending updates
- Verify price is set in planogram
